What to expect on a first visit

Saint Joseph's Basilica describes itself: “Magnificat will sing for Adoremus on the first Saturday of each month, as well as for several other important Basilica services.” Mass follows the familiar Catholic rhythm of readings, homily, and Eucharist. Visitors are welcome to participate as they're comfortable; non-Catholics typically remain seated or come forward for a blessing during Communion. Music is chanted liturgy, largely a cappella. If you'd rather look before you visit, services are streamed online.
