Igreja da Lapa describes itself: “Igreja da Lapa (Porto) acolhe Requiem de Verdi.” Mass follows the familiar Catholic rhythm of readings, homily, and Eucharist. Visitors are welcome to participate as they're comfortable; non-Catholics typically remain seated or come forward for a blessing during Communion.
