St. Basil the Great describes itself: “A Parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia.” Expect ancient liturgy engaging all the senses — chant, incense, and icons. Much of the congregation stands, and people come and go quietly during the long service; arriving mid-liturgy is normal and unremarkable. Music is chanted liturgy, largely a cappella. Children's programming or nursery care is available.
