St John the Baptist, Hessay describes itself: “The parish of Rural Ainsty is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.” The service builds toward the sermon, with congregational singing and prayer. Dress and formality vary widely; come as you are. Music is chanted liturgy, largely a cappella. If you'd rather look before you visit, services are streamed online.
